The Vision of My Future...

As we learned frm the vidio shown by professor in class, it is essential to have a positive vision of the future. It will put you on the right track and help you to succeed in your career and your personal life. A positive vision combined with the action can make a big difference and lead to a positive change for people, nations, companies and cummunities.
I also have a positive vision of my future...however its not 100% clear..and i hope that by taking right actions i can achieve my goals and make my dreams come true. One of my current goals is to successfully graduate from Baruch as soon as posible while taking internships to get some work experience for my future resume. It will be quite hard because i go to school full-time and have two patr-time jobs that i cant quit because i need to pay for the school. I already know it will be problematic for me to fit an internship into my crazy schedule. But i have to...I wiil work around my schedule to somehow fit all of these. I will also take summer and winter semesters in order to graduate as soon as possible.
My other goal is to live in the same city (or at least in the same country) with my mom and sister. We had been separated about 4 years ago when first my sister moved to Moscow from our home town to attend the univercity and then I decided to come to NYC to get the degree and learn the language. Its very hard to live so far from the family, even though i go to russia every summer. As i mentioned above im planning to finish college as soon as i can and go back to Russia. I realize that im giving up a lot by leaving NYC, but this is how much i want to go back. I believe there are many positive career opportunities for me in Russia as well. This leads to another goal, which is to get a good, well-paying job in Russia. Of course i dont expect big salary in the begining but i will work hard and hopefully get what i want. Im planning to start analyzing the job market and look for a possible employer this summer when i go there for vacation. I need to start early to achieve what i want. By staing positive, working hard and taking the right actions im sure I will succeed in my life!

  3. I like your optimistic approach, I think your position is well stated as you exercise positive vision of the future. I believe there are quite a lot job opportunities in Russia especially cause this country is still on the stage on development. Moreover, you have a competitive advantage because of the education you git here, which I think is one of the best in the world. And the opportunities that will be open for you as well, you can be a part of a global corporation because of your exposure to different cultures and educational approaches.

I think you are a bright girl and also hard working person which are two most important character for success! I wish you the best of luck on your way!!!!

  4. I can relate to what you said about being close to your family because I have been in the US for almost 4 years and haven`t seen my family. It`s very difficult when you are apart from your family. Especially, it`s morally hard to because even though you maybe able to provide for yourself financially, when you come home at the end of the day you want your mom give you hug and feel her support in all your actions. I wish you good luck in your studies and get a job as Marketing Research Analyst in Russia`s most successful company! :)

  5. Your story reflects the strength you possess: physically, emotionally, and mentally. Physically, you should be worn out with the crazy schedule you have! I could never imagine having to work two jobs...but you gotta do what you gotta do. Being separated from your family is hard, but your immediate family is just torture. The fact that you can do everything you do and still manage to live separated from those youlove is remarkable. Lastly, you are very strong mentally -- you havent gone nuts with all of this?!

I also admire that you want to go back to your country. There's no place like home huh?
