As for the "i" part of the Ci type, i know if i need to get something done, i can influence or persuade others to help me to achieve our goals together. But I rarely "use" this "i" part because i don't like to rely on others and prefer to do everything myself to make sure everything is perfect. I would like to continue being "C" type and work more on developing my "i" because working with people surrounding you is one of the most important key to succeed in the tough business world.
In my opinion, this test is great and very helpful to understand people's potentials when hiring. For example, "D" ans "I" type people are great for any management positions, while "C" or "S" people will be excellent accountants, statisticians or other positions where specific guidelines for accomplishing the task are set for them.
I think "C" sub-"I" personality are a must have people in a company to make sure that the company`s daily operations and activities run smoothly with their great analytical skills. I agree with you that its good to rely on yourself to make sure that everything is done in time and how you wanted however, I also think that it`s important to divide the tasks and let your colleagues to do the some job especially if you are a manager who handles thousands of activities a day. Also, I think that your "I" part is also a great quality it does not only mean persuading but also you have an ability to inspire people to do certain things and motivate them toward reaching their goal. It`s especially essential if you plan to be a great mom and inspire your children :)))))
ReplyDeleteAlthough I don't personally know you, I can say that being analytical and weighting the pros and cons before making a decision is essential to make correct and wise choices.
ReplyDeleteHowever, if you want to succeed
as a manager you must learn to delegate tasks and trust people.I have the same problem. I always prefer to do everything myself, because i want things to be perfect and don't trust people will deliver the results I expect.
In a real world, it is not productive. We won't always have time to do everything ourselves and will leave things undone if we don't learn to trust people.
